About the Echo/ PV Lab
The Peripheral Vascular lab is fully accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. The Echo/PV lab is a fully integrated digital lab and uses the latest equipment in ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound. The digital lab provides advantages over a non-digital lab that uses tapes or film to record exams. The digital lab provides our interpreting physician the highest quality exam for review, increases accessibility to exams, provides for exam comparison on digital viewing stations, provide a digital recording for patients who are receiving follow-up care at another center, and our Digital Archive system provides us the means of maintaining all digital exams for years.
About the Echo/ PV lab Staff
Echo/ PV lab staff is a group of people dedicated to providing our patients and their physicians with the highest quality in Cardiac and Vascular ultrasound exams. Our staff has 50+ years of combined experience. We currently have a staff of 10 full time technologist.
Community Services
Here at the Covenant Echo/ PV lab we are dedicated to the education and well being of our patients. Besides our Mobile Cardiac and Vascular ultrasound services, which bring our services to the patient, we are involved with performing screening ultrasounds in our community and in the region. We have performed Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screenings at functions such as the Women’s Heart Symposium and screening in the region for Carotid Artery disease.
