Cholesterol in Children
Below is a chart displaying acceptable, borderline, and high cholesterol levels listed by the American Heart Association for children and adolescents ages 2-19.

HDL (good cholesterol) levels should be greater than or equal to 35 mg/dL. HDL levels can be increased by participating in physical activity.
Triglyceride levels should be less than or equal to 150 mg/dL.
