CHVI REGIONAL CARDIOLOGY OUTREACH

Covenant Heart Institute is committed to providing the same quality heart-health care to the region as that provided at its Lubbock facilities.  Through Covenant Heart and Vascular Institute’s Outreach Clinics and Mobile Services programs, hospitals and primary care physicians in the region are able to provide their patients an additional medical service by partnering with the CHVI cardiac specialists who provide clinics in their community. 

Rural hospitals can benefit from the increased usage of their facilities when it is possible to treat patients locally.  All this provides the greatest benefit to the patient who receives cardiology care through their local physician, the Covenant Heart Institute cardiac specialist and the local hospital when it is possible to treat the patient in their own community.

Covenant Heart Institute also brings diagnostic services closer to home for area physicians through its Mobile Echocardiography and Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound programs.

Traveling vans are outfitted with the latest equipment to conduct Echo/PV and stress testing at sites across West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.  This allows patients throughout the region to receive state-of-the-art diagnostic care at a location close to home.
